Anna Leese de Escobar

Anna has more than 35 years of RDT&E in cryogenic and superconducting electronics. She founded the Cryogenic Exploitation of Radio Frequency (CERF) Laboratory at Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific. Since retiring from NIWC Pacific in 2022, she has served as Chief Science Officer in one start-up and founded two start-ups to continue moving cutting-edge technology forward. Anna is a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors and a Senior Member of the IEEE with 22 patents and 57 publications, and she serves her community as a member of several technical committees and boards including the Applied Superconductivity Education Foundation and the National Academy of Inventors.
